Dyson and Wal-Mart are both making big product recalls this month.
Dyson has recalled about 380,000 portable heaters
Dyson has recalled about 380,000 bladeless portable heaters due to a fire hazard.
The recall includes Dyson Hot heaters and Dyson Hot+Cool heaters having model number AM04 and all Dyson Hot+Cool heaters with model number AM05.
The issue: The heaters have been reported to overheat, including four reports of heaters with burned or melted internal parts.
Wal-mart is recalling about 175,000 My Sweet Love / My Sweet Baby Cuddle Care Baby Doll, also due to a fire hazard.
Wal-Mart My Sweet Love doll recalled
The product was sold exclusively at Wal-Mart from August 2012 through March 2014. The doll is identified by UPC 6-04576-16800-5 and a date code, which begins with WM. The date code is printed on the stuffed article label sewn into the bottom of the doll.
The issue: The circuit board in the chest of the doll can overheat, causing the surface of the doll to get hot, posing a burn hazard to the consumer.
Affected customers should remove the batteries from the doll and return to Wal-Mart for a refund, or call (800) 925-6278 for more information.
