Do you know May is Motorcycle Awareness Month?

As we approach warmer weather, motorcyclists are dusting off their bikes and getting back on the road. As we see more motorcyclists on the road, it is a good reminder for all drivers — of all types of vehicles — to share the road, follow the laws and stay accident free.

Share The Road

All motorists are reminded to safely “share the road” with motorcycles and to be alert to help keep all motorists safe. Motorcyclists are reminded to make themselves visible to other motorists and follow the law of any motorist.

Ride smart, ride sober

Statistics show that the percentage of intoxicated motorcyclists involved in fatal crashes is greater than the percentage of intoxicated drivers. Don’t be another statistic and know your limits. Do not drink and drive.
